Adversaria
My own commonplace book, kept in public. A companion blog to Locus Communis, made with Locus Communis.
What it is
Adversaria is a public commonplace book. Passages I keep coming back to from the things I read, with whatever context made them worth saving. Anyone can read along.
The Latin adversaria are loose, miscellaneous notebooks. Older and messier than the formal commonplace book. The name fits how this gets written: in whatever order I happen to be reading.
How it works
Adversaria runs on Locus Communis. It's a public book at adversaria.locuscommunis.com, on the same engine as everyone else's collections. Anything I do in Adversaria, you can do in your own blog with a Locus account.
Why
Landing pages describe the idea of a commonplace book. Adversaria is one.
